National Revenue Agency
As of 1 January 2006 the National Revenue Agency incorporated the collection and administering of state taxes (income tax, patent taxes, VAT, corporate taxes) and obligatory social security contributions (health insurance contributions, pension insurance contributions, contributions for additional mandatory pension insurance, etc.).
National Company Industrial Zones
National Company Industrial Zones PLC is 100% state-owned company specialized in industrial park development, management of industrial zones and innovation centers, provision of additional services to investors. National Company Industrial Zones PLC was created to carry out the strategy of the Bulgarian Government for developing the economy and facilitating the inflow of FDI to Bulgaria. The Company operates three zones, situated in the cities of Ruse, Vidin and Svilengrad and is currently developing five additional industrial terrains - in Bozhurishte, Burgas, Karlovo, Telish/ Pleven and Varna. In advanced stage of development are Sofia-Bozhurishte Economic Zone and Industrial and Logistics Park Burgas. All zones are strategically located, are in regions with educated and skilled population and situated in areas that can qualify for preferential treatment and receipt of investment incentives. In the course of its business, aimed to develop modern industrial parks and to attract foreign investors, NCIZ collaborates actively with all relevant state institutions, NGOs and business organizations.

Foundation for Local Government Reform
The Foundation for Local Government Reform is an independent professional resource centre, whose mission is to support local democracy and promote effective, partnership-based local development, based on democratic values, social inclusion and prosperity. FLGR was established in May 1995 as a non-governmental organization by a group of mayors. The Governing body of FLGR consists of 5 members and the teal – of 9 experienced professionals. For 15 years of existence the Foundation has gained wide recognition at national level. Currently it has a proven record of successfully implemented projects and programs contributing to the democratization of local government in Bulgaria and enhancement of public awareness on local government issues. During the years the organization has established a countrywide network of local professionals, who join our projects relevant to their area of expertise on a part-time basis.

Bulgaria Development Bank
Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) is a financial institution 99.9%-owned by the Bulgarian state. It is the successor of Encouragement Bank established in 1999. Its focus is to support small and medium-sized enterprises. BDB is among the top four Bulgarian banks in terms of credit rating, rated BBB- by Fitch Ratings, the global credit rating agency. It is the only Bulgarian bank to provide financing via other credit institutions as well as direct financing. BDB is the best-positioned local bank to raise funds from international partners. Its subsidiary, the National Guarantee Fund, issues guarantees for bank loans to the non-financial sector.
